Today we took a trip to the Demopolis Public Library. Our school routine is so busy this year, and then afternoons are set aside for toddler naps, so this was our first trip this school year! Way overdue...no pun intended! HA!

We read and checked out this super silly book about Lionel, the lion! Ll is our k4 letter of the week...how fitting! Lionel got different makeovers for his mane for different party themes with friends! A good laugh of nonsense for sure!
When we got back home, we had to complete our school work and our reward was to make our own crazy manes like Lionel! What hard workers I have at school!
The outcome was most amusing...Reagan made a bird's nest for her mane! And ROARed, of course!
Jon Daniel made a rainbow mane! CHEEEEESE!
Alexander made an ocean mane. He is developing an eye for detail and really enjoys art and creativity!
Fun was had by all, including me! I love teaching and learning!
And a library thrills my soul!!!
So glad my love of learning is contagious!!!

I love that these three children enjoy being actively engaged in their learning experiences and the activities that go with it. No wonder they are soaking up the knowledge that you provide each day. They love it!
