LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the astronomy curriculum we are using this year! A portion of it is presented at home and a portion of it is completed at our homeschool co-op!
This week we made sun collages at co-op! Fun and free!
Later that afternoon, at home, we used the sun's energy and a magnifying glass to burn holes in a leaf and melt a chocolate bar! A boy's delight, for sure!
The sun was so hot that it actually burned the chocolate bar, too!
I love learning about how perfectly God planned the universe...it is truly fascinating for the teacher as well as the learners!
I am so thankful to be a part of seeing my firstborn soaking in 2nd grade knowledge based on the truths of God and His Word!
