Who can believe that my babies are in Kindergarten and 3rd grade this year?!?! Time sure flies when you are having fun!!!
I ordered these shirts for GREAT prices from Lolly Wolly Doodle on facebook.
Aren't they cute? The kiddos are pretty cute, too, if I do say so myself!!!
Reagan just turned 4 1/2, but completed K4 curriculum successfully at home last year, so we thought it best to keep her moving. She is reading so well, mostly self-taught I believe. We will concentrate mostly on Bible lessons, handwriting and early math skills. She loves school and asks for more work at the end every day. Sure makes my job easy!!!
My baby boy is getting SO tall and starting to look EIGHT! YIKES!!!!
3rd grade is challenging, but in a good way. He is memorizing Hebrews 11...will know the entire chapter by heart by the end of 3rd grade. There are multiplication facts, cursive writing, individual subject tests...and lots of fun new experiences, too! He is liking it so far!!!
We complete our most serious work in our school room at our farm table.
They especially enjoy the "projects". Here we are in History, creating an animal from playdoh and naming our animals the way God allowed Adam to. Evidently, this is funny stuff!!!
How is that face for concentration?!?!
This is Alexander completing a science experiment about flight.
Our Science curriculum is so great...Fulbright is the author. Last year, he completed her astronomy study with his homeschool co op class. This year, we are using her Flying Creatures of the Fifth Day of Creation books at home. The kids are really into her style and it is Bible based! Who could ask for anything more?!?!
We are off to a great start...here's praying for an unforgettable school year!!!
