A Reagan Funny...

As most of you know, Reagan is allergic to artificial red dye and a natural red dye called annatto. Eating foods that contain these, or using products on her skin, hair or teeth that contain them causes her to break out in major hives and itch severely! We avoid them at all costs, but keep dye free Benadryl on hand just in case! Alexander is SUPER to help us read labels and watch for it as Annatto is harder to predict and is in most cereals, processed cheesy foods, and pastas, none of which are obviously RED! Well, Reagan has heard so much discussion about it in her lifetime that she is beginning to talk about it, too. When I cook something that she tastes and doesn't like, she pushes her plate back and says, "I can't hab dat...it has red dye in it!" HA!

Well, she stretched it this week, to her advantage!
Those little wheels in her head are ALWAYS turning!

As I was folding laundry this week, Reagan appeared in the laundry room (my shadow!) and stood looking up at me, as if waiting for me to say something. She loves music, so I began to sing the ABC song. When I got to E, she said, "No, mama, don't sing dat!" to which I replied, "You sing it then!". She cocked her sweet little head to the side and said, very dramatically as if sad, "I can't...it has red dye in it!" HAHAHAHAHA

Gotta love her! :)

I know it has been a WHILE since some good blogging and photos came to you from me! Please forgive me as this time of year has been busy, but so worth it!

Two weeks ago, to celebrate the last week of school, I took the babies (whom I need to call younger ones because they are hardly babies anymore :() to the duck pond. They were all dressed in coordinating lime green by accident and I thought they were just precious! You cannot take your eye off of three toddlers near water so I only got one photo...but a CUTE one!

Lazy mornings of summer had us spend one week wearing our PJs til mid morning and wrestling and laughing in Erics and my bed for long morning laughs! I was only half way done changing sheets so thats why the missing pillowcases! :)

Did yall know we had a movie star in the family??
As long as she performs "as unto the Lord"!

One reason we have been busy is that Alexander is taking swim lessons in Northport at an indoor pool facility! He is doing so well with only two lessons left. He can swim freestyle, retrieve diving sticks from the bottom of the four foot area without jumping in, float on his back with assistance, and is learning the butterfly stroke! GO ALEXANDER!!!
