Busy, Busy, Busy...Fun, Fun, Fun!!!

We have been busy with school and some extra FUN!

As you can see, the fauxhawk is back! Alex chose it for himself, helped me choose a hair product to help it stand up, and is learning to use the blowdryer on low to set it! HA!
He is handsome, no matter the hairdo!

Hard to believe he is 7 and a HALF now! Both top teeth are loose, so its just a matter of time before his look changes a good bit! How exciting!

All dressed up and ready for Sunday School!

These two girls and two boys are such sweet friends! We celebrated the birthday of some other friends, but couldn't help but talk about our girls turning FOUR next month! They were born just one week apart and have been buddies since tiny! So sweet, but growing TOO FAST!

The boys are exactly 2 months apart and looking forward to turning EIGHT, but us mommies are not ready to think about that or discuss it yet!

A precious friend at church scored the kids some FREE circus tickets.
They got to sit down front on the floor and had eyes lit up with excitement the whole time! It was such a fun afternoon with them!

Reagan worked hard at co op this week. We heard the story "Runaway Bunny", played an If...Then game, and decorated plates with tissue paper and water/glue mixture!
She loved it!
And Alexander was happy to be back in our routine...back to Spanish and Science co op and back to his weekly art class, where he is working on a canvas transfer! WOWSERS!

We are busy, but thrilled to have friends and fun to enjoy!
God has blessed us beyond measure!

Winter Days of Fun

Our area was predicted to get lots of snow and ice Sunday night and Monday morning! We got a good rain and a tiny bit of freezing on bridges and in shady areas, but that's ALL...not one snowflake to speak of!

However, with evening church services cancelled on Sunday and local schools closed on Monday, we had planned to be stuck inside, so we had some fun things planned!
We carried on with snowy day plans, minus the snow!

We roasted marshmallows by the fire...

began a 1000 piece "I Spy" jigsaw puzzle...

and read and played in the fire's warmth!

We have cabin fever a bit late today and already found out that our homeschool co op is cancelled for tomorrow! We had school today, laid back pj style!
Learning and playing is always fun here, but we are ready to play outside!
Come out tomorrow, sun, and dry up the soggy ground PLEASE!

I know I am biased, but are these the two cutest folks you have ever seen or what?!?!
