Day 1 was mostly travel, but a fun dinner show and Reagan's actual birthday, TOO! Super fun day...new experiences! First flight for the kids, and we rode a boat to dinner, too! First (and probably last) cupcake in bed, too! :)

Reagan's Birthday...She's FIVE!!!
REAGAN IS FIVE!!!
In some ways, it is SO difficult to wrap my mind around!
I want to blog about her a little bit, for my memory...
Reagan is such a fun little girl! She says some of the funniest things EVERY day!
She is petite, 41 pounds and 43" tall.
She is such a smart cookie. We went ahead and put her in Kindergarten in August, since we homeschool. She is an excellent reader, beginning her first chapter books. She absolutely LOVES to learn...asking to read and write often! She got a Bible for Christmas and hearing her read from it warms my heart so much!
She is taking art and doing so well. She recently began piano lessons and we can't wait to see her continue to grow and develop.
She has an obsession with stuffed animals...these are her babies! She is almost always carrying at least one and she is extremely creative in her play. She has been saying she wanted to be a meterorologist for quite some time, but is now saying veterinarian! We know God has a PERFECT plan!
She is a love, very affectionate. She still loves to be held, especially when sleepy, and she gives out hugs and kisses freely to her family!
She is spunky, full of life, a take-charge kind of gal. She is such a fun addition to us!

On Saturday, the 11th, we had a celebration with her friends at our church gym. She played so hard and enjoyed all the Hello Kitty decorations. She was so genuine when she thanked friends and family for her gifts and we all enjoyed celebrating her!
On Sunday the 12th (her actual bday), we boarded a plane with Slash and Mimi and headed to Disney World! This wasn't a "birthday trip" but it was a fun week to travel and keep celebrating!

This was her first flight and she really enjoyed looking out the window, talking about everything new to her, and coloring in her Minnie Mouse coloring book!

BIG HAPPENINGS!!!
ALEX LEARNED TO HAMMER!!!
He got a toolbox for Christmas from Slash and Mimi! It is FULL of manly garb for helping with household projects, both here and in Tuscaloosa!
We took it out yesterday, donned work gloves and work apron, and tackled learning to hammer! Practice makes perfect! He built "portable football bleachers" for us to sit on and watch him pretend to play for Alabama in our yard! FUN TIMES!!!
And isn't he a cutie, too?!?! A hard working, good looking boy who loves Jesus and his family! Boy, he will be a real catch one day! But he is still MY valentine now!!!

Big Week...
Reagan is turning FIVE in just a few days! Almost impossible to believe. I got a Cricut for Christmas and have been busy planning and creating a one of a kind Hello Kitty party. She also brought home her first abstract painting from her art class and begins Glockenspiel and piano lessons tomorrow! I will post more after her party and our fun week in Disney have come and gone...must bank sleep for now!
