We took our first camping trip this weekend! 6 families from our church all had spots in the same loop of Deerlick Creek campground. 15 kiddos total! We had a blast!!!

HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!!!!

Look how much my baby boy has grown in our years visiting the beach annually!
The date stamp is not correct on the first picture...this is a June 06 pic compared to a May 11 pic. He is as handsome as ever, growing up so FAST!

Having a child named Alexander, this book has always been a favorite to laugh through around our house!
We have read it MANY times and used it as a teachable moment, to focus on the positive...not always easy!

Thursday, it lost its humor as we tried to live it out...

Reagan ran full speed ahead (racing Alexander) into a concrete stairwell...never saw it coming! OUCH!!!

Nothin' a little TCBY can't fix!

On our way home the same day, we had a blowout!
SO THANKFUL we are all safe...could have been MUCH worse!

We are a one car family, so Eric rescued us in the church van and put on the spare tire. He drove our van to Demopolis slowly and I drove the church van, with 3 children buckled in. The moment I parked the van at the church, the radiator overflowed, releasing pressure from overheating! YIKES!

I don't believe in luck, thankfully! I believe God is in control of all things and has a PERFECT plan! But some say bad luck comes in threes so, if I did believe in luck, I would happily believe my three all came in one afternoon and I am clear now! :)

SIBLING LOVE

I love you well, my brother,
And you are fond of me;

Let us be kind to one another,

As siblings ought to be.

You shall learn to play with me,
And learn to use my toys;

And then I think that you shall be

One super happy boy!!!

Family Fishing

My Sweet Babies...

6 days ago, my hometown was wrecked by a massive tornado!
I am so sad for the loss and devastation I have seen online, so burdened for those
who literally lost EVERYTHING ea
rthly!
But I have a brand new perspective, so amazingly blessed that my entire extended family
on both sides was protected by the mighty hand of God, t
hough tornadoes touched down in the cities and towns of each of us!
And you know what?
NOTHING can separate us from the love of God...not e
ven an EF-5 tornado!!!
He showed his mighty power and His unf
ailing love, all at once!
Check out Nahum 1:3 if you haven't already!!!

I am reminded to count my blessings...

name them one by one!!!

Though we spent some time in our "safe place", the kids sporting bike helmets at James Spann's suggestion, our city and home were untouched!

We pray God receives ALL the glory from this tragedy!
May God's people who were literally protected and spared speak boldly of His hand!!!
