Interruption...

We interrupt these catch-up posts to bring you reason #4,752,109 why being parents is awesome, no matter how each day goes!
This note was placed on our shared bathroom mirror by our 5 (almost 6) year old daughter, Reagan.

Parenting is hard, we make mistakes, and we aren't the best in the world...but we are admired and respected by our children and all 4 of us are seeking after the Lord together, and clinging to our promise of eternal security. Each day is a gift and we are focusing on cherishing and redeeming the time we are given!

SEPTEMBER 2012

We spent most of the month of September...

exploring our new surroundings...

 

adjusting to the high altitude...

 

and enjoying God's amazing creation!!

 

We immediately got super satisfaction from all the free events offered for families in large cities!

We spent Labor Day at a hot air balloon festival.

Always lots of fun and many folks to meet and minister to!

   

 September also brought our first day of

the 2012-2013 school year.  

CanNOT believe we have a 4th grader and a 1st grader!!!

Praying for our best year yet!!!

BIG NEWS FOR AUGUST...

  

WE DROVE ACROSS THE COUNTRY...

  

AND MOVED OUR FAMILY...

TO COLORADO SPRINGS, COLORADO!!

We will live here for one calendar year, participating in a church planting residency and focusing on intimacy with Christ and growing closer as a family, in preparation to begin a missional community in Lowry, Colorado in fall of 2013!

We covet your continued prayers and thank so many of you whose financial generosity has brought us to this point! 

 

Back to Blogging...

After much prayer and listening, I've made a commitment to leave Facebook and return to blogging. Current plan is to catch the blog up to date this weekend, with monthly posts for the months since I last blogged, and then begin posting current events, info, and pics several times a week. I've continually followed blogs of friends and folks I'd one day like to meet and now I'm back, to stay. Forgive my absence, please. As you can tell from the pic, life has been crazy fun in the interim! Can't wait to tell you all about our recent adventures!
