Alexander's 8th Birthday was so much fun, if I do say so myself.
We kept decorations simple, had homemade cupcakes, and dressed casual!
The party included lots of family, great friends, and super cool games.

We enjoyed yummy treats and sang to the birthday boy. Cannot believe he is EIGHT already!!!
We had Mario vs. Luigi scooter races around a cone course. Eric made them ride "correctly" and it was much more challenging. All other kiddos served as cheerleaders!
Each child (and Aunt Rach) became Yoshi and tried to knock the cup over with the yoshi tongue as many times as possible in one minute. So funny to watch!

We also played Mario musical chairs. The kids had wild fun with that one!
Inside were Chicklet gum, Mario fruit snacks, and some bubbles.
I tried something new this year. He drew a name from a bowl and that person (kid or adult) got his/her present from the table and sat by Alex for a picture and while he opened the gift. We are including the pics in each thank you note.
