The Reveal...

I only had one friend guess about my ??? blog entry below. And she was right on!

Our high school arts club sponsored an event this weekend called, "Princesses, Pirates, and Pancakes". Reagan was excited about attending.
HOWEVER, we had 5th quarter at our church after the game Friday night and she stayed for the entire event. We crawled into bed at 1:04am. The breakfast fun was scheduled for 8am. SO...I came up with plan B! We slept until 10:30 and then celebrated at home!
Reagan actually enjoyed having the fun alone with just her mommy!

She chose the wardrobe, I applied makeup, and she ATE!!!
What fun she is!!!

She enjoyed the glamor so much that I decided to enter her in the West Alabama preliminaries for Our Little Miss on Sunday...a Christian based, conservative pageant!
She actually went on stage without me and did fabulously!
She was herself, which isn't the textbook definition of "pageant girl" and I loved watching her!
I think she is beautiful in her favorite wardrobe (t-shirt, shorts, red ruby slippers) and I know she is a princess, daughter of the one true King Jesus!
But I did enjoy dressing her up and showing her off!

The only coaching I gave her, since I have no pageant experience, was to "have fun and let her smile show the judges the love of Jesus in her". She came away with two ribbons...Personality Plus (having fun) and Prettiest Smile (lit with Jesus' love, I know!). How perfect!
She also received a plaque for "Director's Choice Most Beautiful" in her age group!
And because each contestant received a tiara, she considered herself "the Queen"!
Gotta love a well-rounded baby girl!
You are one of a kind, Reagan Hope, and I love you so much!!!

Reagan is a very pretty little girl who loves to "dress up". She looks like she really enjoyed her own fun at home and on the stage with others. Yes, she is well-rounded and pretty, too.
