How wonderful it was to have my children take such an interest in the true meaning of Easter this year...they wanted to tell the story and hear the story read over and over!
Making Resurrection Cookies really helped make it more concrete in their minds!

"He was beaten for our transgressions"

When Jesus was thirsty on the cross, he was given vinegar to drink.
We now know it tastes terrible and doesn't quench thirst.

He washes us white as snow!!!

He was wrapped in folded cloths, prepared for burial.

The tomb was sealed securely!!!

HALLELUJAH!
THE TOMB IS EMPTY!
HE AROSE!!!!!

Great pictures. Love the one of Alexander and the vinegar, and the one of Reagan wielding the screw driver. Yikes! Also, love the one of the threesome and the empty tomb cookies. Great activity to share the Good News.
