We enjoyed a fun day at the park Friday! It was closed for several months for installation of new equipment and brand new ground cover!
Don't really LOVE taking sand home with us each time, but the kids certainly LOVE digging there, so we took our real tools this trip!!!

If you look carefully in the cup, Alex discovered a dead frog floating in his "mud soup". YUCK!!!!

Because a Sonic cup is always a handy sand toy. Gotcha! Looks like a fun outing, until the toe incident.
cute pictures! I have heard that the sand is only temporary!!! They are adding a few more pieces of equipment and putting down some sort of engineered woodpieces on part of it (for strollers and handicap access) and then woodchips for the rest (I believe).
