Sweet Sanfords

Alexander got a scooter from Eric and me for Christmas! It is a RAZOR...big deal to a kid! In just a few short practice sessions, he has learned to balance it to be able to put both feet on it! He is learning to use the brake over the back wheel, too!
WAY TO GO BIG MAN!!!

We had some snow flurries Monday that wonderfully interrupted our first day back at school! They don't show up in the pics, but Alexander was FULLY convinced that he was catching them on his tongue! It was great fun to watch!

He jumped back into the school year, eager for second semester and super cooperative! Definite answer to prayer! His handwriting is looking so good this year and he is soaking in so much new information! History is definitely his favoite subject thus far...Ancient Egypt just thrilled him to his core!!!

Now for his most recent funny...He asked last night if he could have some diet root beer in a coffee mug, so I fixed the drink you see below. When he came to the kitchen to get it, he was very pleasantly surprised that is was REALLY in a coffee mug! He proceeded to drink it slowly and savor the flavor...

Then he caught a glimpse of the words on the mug, and here is what he said, (Get out your best announcer's voice and read aloud for the full effect
"Introducing StarbuckETS Root Beer Flavored Coffee, hot off the press! Bet you haven't bought any yet, because it was only available on the internet. You can see it on my facebook! But now its in stores everywhere! You just gotta try it!"
I was rolling in the floor laughing and just HAD to get a picture of my future infomercial host!!! He is a MESS!!!
And to think, we don't even have cable...no tellin' where he heard such talk!

This is a good boy, I tell ya!!!
