Alexander is SIX!!!

We stretched out Alexander's birthday as long as we could...we celebrated him a little at the beach, he had a FUN pirate sleepover on the 26th, we took him out to eat in Tuscaloosa the night of his actual birthday, and then celebrated him again in Huntsville this past weekend! MERCY! Here are some highlights from his party...it was truly a BLAST!

He baked his own party cake and helped decorate it...a "treasure map" of chocolate chips leading to an X marks the spot, SIX of course!!!

The boys (and Reagan) dressed up as pirates for dinner. To drink, I made red kool aid ice cubes and dropped them in Sprite! If you fall off the plank, matey, crocodiles will eat you!!!

We all went to see Up at the Demopolis Theater!

We returned home for a pirate game...how many pretzels can you hook, Cap'n??

We spent the night in a large tent in our backyard...just me and the boys! We enjoyed some campfire songs (without the campfire)...

some scary ghost stories...

silly play time with flashlights...

sleepy storytime...

and, finally, some sleep!!!

BUT NOT FOR LONG...
The boys were up at 6am, rarin' to go! So we had water balloon battles, enjoyed the slip n slide, ate breakfast together, and opened presents (all outdoors so as not to wake Reagan and Eric!)!
